The toggle connection provided in the chain scraper conveyor according to the invention is formed by coupling pieces (8, 9) which are welded to the side profiles (2) of the trough sections (19) on the outside and which are each provided with a fixed profile extension (16, 17) which penetrates into the V-shaped profile taper (7) of the respective trough-section side profile which extends only over a part length of the associated coupling piece, specifically only over a part length of the toggle shank (18), arranged in the toggle pocket, of the toggle (13), and thus limits the toggle pocket on the inside in the region of the toggle shank. The toggle (13) has, at one end, a locking nose (21) which engages behind a locking surface (22) on the associated coupling piece, whilst, on its other toggle head, it is provided with a locking groove (23) for the engagement of a releasable retaining member (24). Particularly when the chain scraper conveyor is used in the mode of a cutting machine, the coupling pieces, together with further welded-on attachments, form fixed fittings of the trough section. <IMAGE>
