The invention relates to a locking device between the chassis and driver's cab or dump body of a motor vehicle, in which device, for the purpose of long-term, rattle-free locking, there are provided two curved cams which are mounted rotatably in mirror-image fashion to form a trough-shaped receptacle on one commercial-vehicle part for a retaining bolt fastened to the other commercial-vehicle part, which curved cams are each prestressed in such a manner, by means of a spring, in the direction of the receptacle that they partially cover the receptacle and with the retaining bolt inserted in the receptacle, with their curves formed on the outer contour, rest in a force-fitting manner against the retaining bolt and press the latter into the receptacle. The curves of the curved cams are designed as clamping curves at a radial distance from the pivoting point of the curved cams which increases continuously counter to the rotational direction of the curved cams, which direction is brought about by the springs. An unlocking unit engaging on the curved cams is designed in a manner such that the curved cams are simultaneously rotated, counter to the spring prestressing, through approximately the same angle of rotation.
