Electrical switch

An electrical switch is proposed which is composed essentially of a housing, the electrical contact parts which are arranged therein, and an operating element which is mounted on the housing in a moving manner. A transmission system is arranged, in a prestressed manner, between the operating element and a moving electrical contact part in order to drive the moving electrical contact part. In order to obtain a transmission system which is of particularly simple design and can thus be manufactured and assembled (installed) cost-effectively, the transmission system (which consists of at least one compensation element which can be deformed elastically and of a drive element which is of rigid design) is constructed integrally.
