The proposed material comprises a non-metal base and, overlaid thereon, an electroconductive covering consisting of at least one non-metal and one metal layer, both being electroconductive, the non-metal layer being the one closest to the base. If more than two electroconductive layers are provided, they can be combined in different ways in the covering and may have different compositions, such as metal or metal alloys.
