The LCD improves the working efficiency by driving a correspondent pixel by use of a preserved TFT if a TFT gets mulfunctioned. The LCD comprises a gate (14B) and a source (14C) formed as a common electrode; a drain (14A) connected to an image element electrode (13A) formed at one side of the common electrode; a preserved drain (14A') positioned beside the image element electrode (13B).
