<p>An offering plate (100) that permits an attender at a religious service to make a donation that consists of an envelope donation acceptor (101), a credit card donation processor (104), and/or a debit card donation processor (105). The offering plate (100) associates a donation with an account of a member, tallies information regarding a number of donations, and stores information regarding a donation, and a plurality of donations (120). The offering plate is part of an offering plate network (140, 1030) which consists of an offering plate, a clergy member's terminal, a card account processor, or combination thereof. The offering plate network collects, analyzes, and displays statistical information. Various methods of obtaining donations are used with an offering plate (100), offering plate network (140, 1030), card account processor, or combination thereof.</p> |
