The invention relates to a device for sequence control in production companies with a network (7) which interconnects data input units and data output units (2, 5; 4, 6). At least one sequence control station (5) transfers data to data transmission units of printing machines (9, 10) and to at least one storage unit (6). Machine-specific data can be manipulated in the storage unit (6) by means of the data input units (2). The data manipulation can be called up at all data output components (4, 5) interconnected in the network (7).
