A process for producing an injection-moulded article which consists of at least two different thermoplastic materials is to be designed such that this injection-moulded article can be produced efficiently and inexpensively. This is achieved by the different thermoplastic materials (14, 15) being injected one after the other via a common runner (9), using an injection mould (1) which is at least partially designed in such a way and/or can be activated in such a way that the injection mould (1) or at least part of the same is filled in frontal/laminar flow from the runner (9). The filling operation is controlled alternately with the different thermoplastic materials (14, 15) but with a continuous transition one into the other in such a way that the thermoplastic material (14 or 15) of the desired characteristics according to the moulding process is in each case located in the section intended for this material of the injection mould (1) or of the moulding or preform (2) (single figure). <IMAGE>
