Process for aligning and fastening frames

A description is given of an alignment and installation device which is intended to facilitate the alignment and installation of frame structures. A receiving part (1) is pressed into the bore provided on the frame (Figure 1, part 4). The receiving part is provided with a screw (2) which can be moved, by turning, in the direction of the masonrywork or back. If a plurality of said devices are accommodated in this frame, then the frame can be aligned and fixedly clamped in the masonrywork opening by adjusting the screws. In the next operation, in each case one clamping screw (2) is unscrewed in order then to drill a dowel hole through the threaded hole into the masonrywork, a dowel then being pressed into said dowel hole. Through the threaded hole in the receiving part, a screw is then screwed into the dowel. By tightening the screw, the receiving part is drawn partially out of the frame and drawn against the masonry wall by the shoulder surface and, there, is screwed into the fitted dowel. The frame is, then, held in the previously set-up position by the receiving parts. Installation of frames. <IMAGE>
