<p>Radar apparatus comprising a phased array antenna (1) provided with a large number of transmit and receive modules (2), a control unit (3) and a video processor (4). Per azimuth-elevation direction, the control unit (3) generates a number of pulse bursts, all of which show slight carrier frequency differences. Per pulse burst, the video processor (4) determines a doppler spectrum and compares successive spectra. As a result of the frequency differences, clutter will hardly undergo a shift, whereas targets subject to fold-back in the frequency domain will show a considerable shift. A threshold based on a mean spectrum therefore enables detect ion.</p> |
