Detection of syrup additives in reusable mineral water bottles or containers with practically undetectable aromatic contents in the gas phase

Reusable mineral water bottles with syrup contents are not free from syrup flavours even after cleaning. The invention relates to a method for detecting syrup or syrup contents in recycled bottles using the colourant of the syrup. Detection takes place by means of a photometer arrangement with two fixed wavelengths.
