The invention relates to a gripping wrapper for receiving a pourable or free-flowing medium. Grip adhering elements are arranged on the one outer surface 2 of the gripping wrapper 1 and grip connecting elements are arranged on a further outer surface 2 of the gripping wrapper. The arrangement is such that, with wrappers 1 which are stacked one above the other or adjacently and are filled with a medium, the grip adhering elements of the one wrapper 1 engage in the grip connecting elements of at least one further wrapper 1.
