PURPOSE: To provide a texture image demarcating device capable of executing a new method while considering a basic step. CONSTITUTION: Concerning the device for demarcating a texture image based on a digital signal expressing an image by decomposing each image into areas related to any other texture corresponding to the features of respective textures expressing parameters, this device is provided with a subassembly 100 of directional morpheme filtering for the features of textures, subassembly 200 for determining texture parameters, and subassembly 300 for demarcating the texture into the areas through technique for extracting the change point lines of texture parameter images divided into small blocks in a prescribed size on the output side of this subassembly 200. The different control signals of these subassemblies are formed by a sequence stage. |
