PURPOSE:To carry out complete combustion of waste oil without discharging even one drop of water to the outside by completely closing heating, evaporating and burning processes and evaporating and burning the waste oil having a high with content. CONSTITUTION:A combustion apparatus for waste oil has a waste having a high water contact. oil burner 2 provided on the bottom thereof, an oil- containing steam heater 7 provided at the top thereof and a heat exchanger 3A of the evaporator 3 provided through hot gas passage 49 in lower part of side wall of a circular cylindrical combustion furnace 1 having a sight hole 6 provided in the center of the side wall. A top opening 16 of an evaporator 3B connected to upper part of the heat exchanger 3A is connected to the oil containing steam heater 7 of the combustion furnace 1 through an oil-containing steam guide tube 8 so as to form closed processes.
