PURPOSE:To provide a nonaqueous solvent secondary battery with high charge/ discharge performance, excellent high-rate discharge performance, and high economical efficiency by adding aromatic hydrocarbon to a positive active material. CONSTITUTION:In a nonaqueous solvent secondary battery having a negative electrode 6 made of a light metal 6, a positive electrode 4 made mainly of a spinel LiMn2O4 positive active material, and an electrolyte prepared by dissolving an electrolyte in a nonaqueous solvent, aromatic hydrocarbon containing a benzene ring is added to the positive active material. The positive active material is immersed in aromatic hydrocarbon with a benzene ring (example: toluene) under reduced pressure, and air-dried, then used. |
