System in which the head is mounted on the shaft of the machine by means of two expandable conical sleeves formed so that when they are pressed axially one against the other between a projection on the shaft and a threaded tightening nut on the free end thereof, they are wedged against the cutter-carrier head and the shaft of the machine, self-centring fastening of one on the other being achieved.
