PURPOSE:To make axle tread adjustment ever so easy, by installing a swivel- stop of a final gear case, in time of tread width adjustment, in the outer surface of a axle housing adjustably in its position, and constituting the above-captioned controlling means for a tractor or the like. CONSTITUTION:At a boundary part between a main housing 13 and a slide housing 14, there is provided with a boss part 46, having a through hole 45, in a little downward position of the rear side at both ends of the main housing 13, while another boss part 48, having a through hole 47, is installed in a slide housing flange part 14a as well. Plural engaging concave parts 50 are installed in each side of both these boss parts 46 and 48 at regular intervals, inserting a stepped pin 51 thereinto, and this pin 51 is locked to the slide housing 14 with a screw part 51b and a nut 52, while a screw 56 is screwed in a tapped hole 54 of the boss part 46 of the main housing 13, making it engage the pin 51, and a swivel-stop takes place for both these housings 14 and 14, coupling them together. With this constitution, axle tread adjustment is simplifiable. |
