The artificial bathing pond exhibits a bathing part (1) which is enclosed at least partially by a plant part (2) which is of a lower depth. At least the bathing part (1) is provided with a water-tight lining. In order to delimit the bathing part (1), provision is made for walls (3) which comprise wooden planks or logs, are located within the lining and of which the individual planks or logs are connected to one another by wood nails or dowels. The delimitation between the bathing part (1) and the plant part (2) can thus be produced in a simple manner. <IMAGE>
