The hand-held radio telephone (1) is provided with a solar cell (2) at the rear of the housing (10). The solar cell is formed by vapour-deposited amorphous solar cell material. The solar cell (2) can be applied directly to the housing or to a slider (4) which can be inserted interchangeably into guide rails (3) of the housing (10).
