After the buffer register layer is formed at the non-etching part of the glass by the screen print, the glass is etched by the conventional sand blast method to give fashionable pattern glass. The used register ink is manufactured by stirring the vinyl acetate and alumite at roon temperature in which gum arabic solution dissolved in water is added to give register ink. For exsmple, a mixture of vinyl acetate 100 wt.%, rosin oil 17-25 wt.%, and alumite 35-45 wt.% is mixed with a mixture of water-soluble gum arbic 28-32 wt.% dissolved in water 100 wt.% at the ratio of 3 : 1 to give print ink for glass etching.
