A mixture of glycerine 100wt.% and 25-35 wt.% sugar, starch syrup, grain syrup or honey was boiled in which ammonium hydrofluride 25-35 wt.% added and cooled to room temperature to give fundamental one solution (I). The other glycerine 100 wt.% was boiled and ammonium hydrofluoride 25-35 wt.% and ferric chloride 10-15 wt.% are added in it sequencially and cooled to room temperature, the precipitate in solution (II) was filtrated to remove. The solutions I and II were mixed at the ratio of 1 : 1 or 2 : 1 to give glass etching compound.
