PURPOSE:To obtain a carotenoid composition having high stability of carotenoid and useful as a colorant for foods, drinks, cosmetics, etc., by adding a carotenoid to a vitamin A compound. CONSTITUTION:This carotenoid composition is produced by uniformly mixing (A) a carotenoid (preferably carotene) with (B) a vitamin A compound at a weight ratio of 0.005-1, preferably 0.04-0.4. The compound A is dissolved or suspended in the component B. |
