FUEL SUPPLY MODULE AND FUEL SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To provide a fuel feed module capable of keeping sufficient fuel at the inlet of a fuel pump during vehicle operation or slope parking. CONSTITUTION: This fuel feed module 10 is fitted into a cup 18 attached to the bottom of the fuel tank 16 of a vehicle, and has a cylindrical reservoir 12. A fuel pump 14 is mounted in the reservoir 12. A manifold 20 for feeding fuel along a route is mounted on the module 10. A fuel sender unit for detecting fuel level is mounted on the side surface of the reservoir. A jet pump is mounted to lead the fuel into the reservoir 12 from a fuel tank 16 so as to keep the reservoir 12 full while the fuel pump 14 is operating. The jet pump is fluid- coupled to a jet fuel suction conduit 90. A reservoir discharge conduit 92 is disposed above a fuel discharge chamber 86 and fluid-coupled to the reservoir 12.
