PURPOSE:To obtain a feed composition having effect on noninfectious and infectious diarrhea of domestic animals, 'domestic fowls and pets and to prepare a feed mixed with the feed composition CONSTITUTION:This feed composition for preventing and treating noninfectious and infectious diarrhea contains one or more compounds selected from tannins consisting of (+)-catechin, (+)-gallocatechin, (+)-catechin gallate, (-)- epicatechin, (-)-epicatechin gallate, (-)-epigallocatechin, (-)-epigallocatechin gallate, free type theaflavin, theaflavin monogallate A, theaflavin monogallate B and theaflavin digallate to give a feed mixed with the feed composition. A feed composition for preventing and treating diarrhea comprises the tannins and a specific antibody against an infectious microorganism or against a toxin produced by the infectious microorganism. |
