<p>PURPOSE:To speedily open a lid sufficiently even if the generated gas pressure of an inflator is low, by constituting an air bag device from a gas guide member for introducing the generated gas of the inflator to the front part of a container and constituting the gas guide member so that the much quantity of gas is introduced into the second side part side than into the first side part side. CONSTITUTION:An inflator 18 is inserted into a container 12, passing through insertion ports 46 formed on the container 12 and a guide member 20. The projection 48 installed on the inflator 18 passes through the opened port formed on the opposite side to the insertion port 46 and projects outside the container 12, and the inflator 18 is fixed on the container 12 by the screwing of a nut 50 onto the projection 48. An air bag between guide plates 34 and 36 is pressed, and a lid 16 is energized forward, together with the air bag. Then, a connecting piece 6 is torn along a tear part 32, and the lid 16 is opened as shown by the arrow 100.</p> |
