PURPOSE:To prevent separation of an outer peripheral bead from an inside cylinder part of a rear shell half body during assembling of a booster shell in a negative pressure booster for constituting the booster shell by fitting a front shell half body and a rear shell to each other in such a manner as to nip and fix the outer peripheral bead of a diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:In an outer peripheral bead 5a of a diaphragm 5 to be fitted to an inside cylinder part 25 of a rear shell half body 3, a locking projection 27 composed of a shaft part 27a projecting from a rear end face of the bead 5a and a bulged head part 27b continuous to an exterior end of the shaft part 27a is integratedly formed, while a flange part 26 of the rear shell half body 3 is provided with a locking groove 28 to be engaged with the bulged head part 27b to prevent separation of the outer peripheral bead 5a from the inside cylinder part 25. |
