PURPOSE:To provide an ascent/descent aiding and fall preventing apparatus for a stairway by putting the apparatus fitted with a belt to be inserted with an arm to a handle on a handrail fitted to the side wall of the stairway at the same inclination as that of the stairway, and utilizing the principle of a lever. CONSTITUTION:An arm belt is fitted to the upper section of a handle 2, and the lower section is fitted to the upper section of a moving base. Push springs 3' are fixed at the upper section of one end of the moving base and the lower section of the other end respectively, rollers 4' are fitted at the tips, and stopper rubbers 5' are fitted in parallel with the rollers 4' inside them respectively. The moving base is put on a columnar handrail. |
