PURPOSE:To facilitate the installation of an air bag on a retainer, as for an air bag device for an assistant driver's seat. CONSTITUTION:A projection 52 is projectingly installed on the out surface of the rear edge of an upper retainer 42, and the opened port formed on an air bag 34 is laid on the projection 52. The air bag 34 allows the rear edge of the upper retainer 42 set along the obverse and reverse surfaces to be inserted into a pocket part, and then a bolt 56 is inserted into the pocket part, and screwed by a nut 64. Accordingly, the edge part of the air bag 34 is laid at the rear edge of the upper retainer 42, and the upper retainer 42 is inserted into the pocket part, together with the edge part of the air bag 34, and the air bag 34 can be fixedly installed exceedingly firmly, by only tightening the bolt 56. |
