PURPOSE:To provide an elevator control device controlling an elevator applied with a large load such as a cargo elevator for allowing a wire stretch action. CONSTITUTION:An elevator control device detects the load of a car 9 with a wire stretch prohibition load detector 13. When the detected load does not exceed a prescribed value below the maximum live load of the car 9, a drift correcting action, i.e., wire stretch, is allowed by a wire stretch limit section 2. When the detected load exceeds the prescribed value below the maximum live load of the car 9, the drift correcting action is prohibited. |
