PURPOSE:To manufacture a product of excellent quality where no failured parts such as oxide are mixed in the surface layer of the stock by using a die for the solid-liquid coexistent phase die casting where pouring basin parts are provided at the shunting piece and the runner respectively. CONSTITUTION:A recessed part is provided on a stock receiving surface of a shunting piece 5, and failured parts of the end surface of the stock is caught in the pouring basin part 6 to prevent them from entering in a runner 8. Then, a pouring basin part 9 which is the dead end is provided in the runner 8, the failured parts of the stock surface entering the runner 8 are stored, preventing them from entering a cavity 11. The pouring basin part 9 provided in the runner 8 is preferably provided at the branch point of the runner 8 when a plurality of product cavities 11 for mass-production are available. When only one product is produced, the runner 8 is bent, and the pouring basin part is preferably provided at the bent part. The failured parts of the surface layer of the stock which are not faced to the runner 8 during the injection do not enter the product because they are brought into contact with a bush 12 of low temperature between a sleeve 7 and the shunting piece 5 to be solidified. |
