PURPOSE:To form a feeder head part so that a shrinkage hole developed at the feeder head part does not invade into a product cavity. CONSTITUTION:The feeder head part 5 storing molten metal supplied through a spool 3 and a runner 4, and the product cavity C pouring molten metal from the feeder head part 5 through a work gate 6 are provided on a mold and a tappered part 7 is formed in the range of 80-120 deg. tappered angle theta at the lower end part of the feeder head part 5. It is avoided that the heat concentrates in this neighborhood and the solidification of the molten metal is promoted by forming this tapered part 7. |
