PURPOSE: To keep a cushion formed by ordinary temperature air all the time by cooling a baffle plate aerodynamically and mounting a lead-in type deflector on the inner surface of the baffle plate as a means of aerodynamically guiding the layer of the ordinary temperature air insulating the baffle plate from high temperature gas. CONSTITUTION: A lead-in type deflector 12 is mounted on the inner surface of a baffle plate 4 to lead the flow of ordinary temperature air along the baffle plate 4. When a thrust reverser is in a direct injecting operating mode, the deflector 12 is led in the inner wall of the baffle plate 4 to be stored in a storage space 17 so as not to disturb the aerodynamic flow. On the other hand, when the thrust reverser is in reverse thrust, the deflector 12 is stood so as to act on the flow along the inner wall of the baffle plate 4 to lead the ordinary temperature flow velocity so that high temperature flow velocity may not impact the baffle plate 4. The deflector 12 is operated by a push/pull connecting rod 13, a counter shaft 14 connected to the connecting rod 13 is operated by another push/pull connecting rod 15 which is connected to a lever and fixed to the rotating shaft of the baffle plate 4.
