PURPOSE: To provide a multi-orifice type ink jet print head capable of efficiently removing impurities and air bubbles. CONSTITUTION: In an ink jet print head, the ink supplied from ink supply manifolds 222 receiving ink from the ink supply ports provided to one ends thereof, a plurality of the ink supply channels 214 dispersed to be connected to the ink supply manifolds and a plurality of ink supply channels 214 is ejected through a plurality of nozzles 232. The ink supply manifolds 222 are molded into a taper shape wherein the cross-sectional areas of them are gradually reduced from the upstream side of ink toward the downstream side thereof and the position of the upper end wall of the downstream portion of ink in each of the ink supply manifolds 222 is made higher than that of the upper end wall of the upstream portion of ink therein. |
