<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the opening work of a removal hole for remaining iron by fitting a forming device for remaining iron removal hole in a mold form for through, at the time of pouring a castable refractory between an iron tapping trough for blast furnace and the mold form for trough. CONSTITUTION:Before pouring a castable refractory 13 between the iron tapping trough 12 for blast furnace and the mold form 11 for trough, a piston rod 20a is advanced from a cylinder device 20 arranged to the mold form 11 for trough. Then, an intermediate rod 19 is advanced through a guide pipe 21 and the mold form 17 for remaining iron removal hole composed of a cylindrical air-tight flexible material is arranged to the lower part in a mold form for molten iron weir positioned at a skimmer part 14. Successively, gas is supplied into the mold form 17 for remaining iron removal hole through a gas carrying tube 18c and bulged and the castable refractory 13 is poured into gap between the trough 12 and the mold form 11 and at the same time, poured into the mold form for molten iron weir and dried and hardened. At the time of completing the drying and the hardening, the mold form 17 for remining iron removal is exhausted and shrunk and taken off to form the remaining iron removal hole in the molten iron weir 15. By the method, the heavy labor of worker and the work in bad environment are eliminated, and the remaining iron removal hole is easily formed.</p> |
