<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the seaming of the panels consisting of woven fabric, by reducing the length of the first strap on the vehicle front side than the length of the second strap on the rear side of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:An air bag 40 for an assistant driver's seat is formed by seaming a rear panel 52 consisting of woven fabric and a front panel 54, and the seam between the rear panel 52 and the front panel 54 forms a bias on the whole periphery of the air bag 40. Accordingly, the rear panel 52 and the front panel 54 can be firmly seamed only by seaming the edge parts 52a and 54a of the rear and front panels 52 and 54. The first strap 60 is shorter than the second strap 62, and the air bag 40 is developed so that the rear side of the vehicle is enlarged in the vertical direction. Accordingly, at the front surface of an assistant drivers' seat 46, the air bag 40 whichs is largely developed in the vertical and lateral directions is arranged, and when the vehicle collides, the assistant driver 46 can be surely protected.</p> |
