PURPOSE: To provide an immune response-regulating composition that is used for inhibition of rejection symptoms to transplanted tissue and for inhibiting the host disease from attacking to the transplanted tissue. CONSTITUTION: This immune response-regulating composition includes IL-4 receptor and CTLA4 receptor. As an IL-4 receptor, are cited a monoclonal antibody that specifically recognizes and links to IL-4, namely soluble IL-4 receptor. In addition, the CTLA4 receptor is, for example, CTLA4 Ig fused protein, CD28 Ig/CTLA4 Ig fused protein hybrid. The CTLA4 Ig fused protein bears the first amino acid sequence containing an amino acid residues from 1-125 amino acids corresponding to the extracellular domain in the CTLA4 and the second amino acid sequence containing the amino acid sequence corresponding to the human immunoglobulin Cr1 hinge, CH2 and CH3 regions. |
