PURPOSE:To obtain an anticarcinogenic promoter agent containing a specific compound and having new chemical structure other than flavonoids and triterpenes. CONSTITUTION:This activation suppressing agent contains a compound of formula I {A1 to A9 are Cl, R1O (R1 is H, a 1-9C alkyl or a 1-9C alkenyl), R1-R1COR1, a HOR1, a QOOC {Q is H, a 1-9C alkyl, a 1-9C alkenyl or group of formula II [B1 to B5 are each Cl, R2O (R2 is H, 1-9C alkyl or 1-9C alkenyl), HOC, an R2, an R2COR2, a HOR2, an R2OOC or an R2COOCH2]}; A5 and A10 may be bonded together to form O; A8 and A9 may be cyclized to form gamma-lactone or eta-hydroxylactone}. The agent is administered at a daily dose of 0.008-0.1g for adult. |
