摘要 PURPOSE:To control fuel at good responsiveness by detecting the respective flow masses of gaseous fuel and air forming a combustible mixture, by calculating an air fuel ratio based on the detection result, and by controlling the calculated air fuel ratio so that the ratio is similar to an aimed air fuel ratio. CONSTITUTION:The air inlet port 16 of a fuel control system 10 is connected to a mixing chamber 20 connected to the inlet port 13 of an internal combustion engine 12 by means of an air flow means 18, and is connected by mean of a gaseous fuel source 22. The gaseous fuel source 22 is connected to the mixture chamber 20 by means of a gas flow means 24. A mass gas flow sensor 30 and a control valve means 40 are arranged between the gaseous fuel source 22 and the mixture chamber 20. A mass air flow sensor 36 is arranged between the air inlet port 16 and the mixing chamber 20. An air fuel ratio sensor 44 is arranged on the exhaust route 26 of the internal combustion engine 12. An air fuel ratio is calculated based on each detection signal while the control valve means 40 is controlled so that the calculated air fuel ratio is similar to an aimed air fuel ratio, in a control circuit 24.
