PURPOSE:To easily change the format of a document based on the sample format displayed on a screen at the preparation of the document or at the end of the document preparation. CONSTITUTION:In the document preparation screen, when the format change is specified, a CPU 1 reads out the sample format data stored in a ROM 2 in advance and displays it on an LCD panel 10. In this case, the data showing the contents of the format and the format image are displayed and a format number is selected by a cursor. When the sample format is selected, the selected format state is displayed for the confirmation. When the format needs no change, the 'selection/execution' key is operated as it is. By the key control, the CPU 1 stores the format data in a document format data storage area 3a of a RAM 3 corresponding to the document data in preparation. According to the format data, the display state or the like of the screen is changed. |
