PURPOSE:To suppress the loss of products to the minimum level by detecting color change completion and cutting an electric wire at the color change completion detected point and switching the winding of an electric wire into a new coil part of electric wires from an old coil part of electric wires in which an electric wire with previous color is included at the time of changing the color. CONSTITUTION:Based on the color change instruction from a control apparatus 40, a hopper 1 selected among a plurality of hoppers 1 in which coating resin with different color is respectively stored, and in which coating resin with the designated color is stored is opened and the coating resin is supplied to a screw cylinder of a resin extruder 2 and then heated and melted. Simultaneously, a color sensor 22 is operated and the color of the insulator of an electric wire 300 extruded from a cross head and coated with the insulator is detected. At the time when the data detected from the color sensor 22 and the color data of the designated color coincide with each other it is detected that the color change is completed. Based on the color change completion signal, the electric wire 300 is cut at the color change completion detected point and winding of the electric wire 300 is switched to a new coil part 62 from a coil part 61 of a coil of electric wires in which the electric wire with the previous color produced at the time of color change of the electric wire 300 is included. |
