PURPOSE:To provide a brake-equipped motor which can constitute such speed detecting device that can effectively control the rotating speed of the motor, etc., for driving electric motor cars without fitting any speed detecting parts to the shaft of the motor and, at the same time, the size of which can be reduced. CONSTITUTION:A proximity sensor 27 is mounted on the side plate 26 of an electromagnetic brake 23 and a speed detecting device is formed near the external gear-shaped section of an inner driver 24 fixed to a motor shaft 22. Therefore, the size of the speed detecting section can be reduced, because it becomes unnecessary to put the conventional code wheel for detecting speeds on the inner driver 24. |
