摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a regenerative brake system for battery type forklift in which the regenerative brake power for drive motor can be determined according to the magnitude of main brake power. CONSTITUTION:In a battery type forklift, a main brake system 8 is operated through a master cylinder by stepping on a brake pedal and a wheel 3 is driven through a DC drive motor 4. A torque sensor 6 and a compositional member 7 of main brake system are carried on the shaft of DC drive motor 4 and the torque sensor 6 is connected with a controller 9 which is connected with a drive circuit 17 for the DC drive motor 4. The torque sensor detects torque of the motor shaft during operation of the main brake system and regenerative braking of the DC drive motor is effected.
