<p>PURPOSE:To provide the preventive safety device which can evaluate, judge, and process the degree of danger in consideration of the size of an obstacle as to plural dangerous objects at the periphery of the vehicle CONSTITUTION:Obstacle detecting means 10 and 20 detect the distance and direction to an obstacle and the size of the obstacle, a data extracting means 40 extracts data corresponding to the obstacle according to the size of the obstacle, and a travel environment output means 50 generates a figure corresponding to the size of the extracted data on actual space coordinates corresponding to a travel road surface in front of the vehicle. The travel state of this vehicle, on the other hand, is detected by a travel state detecting means 60, a danger degree coefficient calculating means 70 sets a distribution of danger degree coefficients M on the actual space coordinates according to the travel state, and a danger degree output means 80 finds the degree C of danger from the figure corresponding to the size of the extracted data and the danger degree coefficients and outputs the degree C of danger with a two-dimensional distribution corresponding to the size.</p> |
