<p>PURPOSE:To provide an organic EL element which reduces deterioration due to the heat or the accumulation of electric charges to be generated when the element is driven, i.e., which presents a long half time of brightness and good durability. CONSTITUTION:An organic EL element concerned is at least so structured that an organic light emission layer 4 and an organic carrier conveyor layer 3 adjoining each other and forming an interface are held by a hole implanting electrode 2 and an electron implanting electrode 5 in-between. The layer 3 on the hole implanting electrode side in the organic carrier conveyor layer 3 and the organic light emission layer 4 are doped with an organic substance 7 having a transmission min. level than that of the material which constitutes the layer 3, and/or the layer on the electron implanting electrode side in the organic carrier conveyor layer and the organic light emission layer are doped with an organic substance having a transmission belt minimum level than that of the material which constitutes the layer concerned 3, and/or valence electron belt maximum level than that of the material which constitutes the later concerned.</p> |
