<p>PURPOSE:To correctly restore a continuous signal at a reception side by sampling the word address information of a signal which can be reproduced at the reception side by the clock of the multiplexed continuous signal, and inserting the address information into a multiplexed signal. CONSTITUTION:Audio data AU are read from a memory 12 by the word clock of a video signal, and time-division multiplexed on video data from a multiplexing circuit 11 by a multiplexing circuit 13. Then, the address ADRS of the video data is latched by the sampling clock of the AU by a clock information generating circuit 16, the ADRS value is supplied to the circuit 13, inserted into the multiplexed data, and transmitted. The ADRS is restored from a word synchronizing clock from a synchronization reproducing circuit 22 by a conversion circuit 23 at a reception side, the reproduced ADRS is supplied to a reproducing circuit 26, compared with the address information related to a restored audio clock, and a clock pulse is obtained when they are matched. Then, the audio clock which is equal to the clock at a transmission side is reproduced from the pulse, and supplied to a memory 25.</p> |
