POLYESTER WITH UNSATURATED END GROUP FOR TONER RESIN

PURPOSE: To provide the toner binder resin and toner exhibiting an excellent low fixing temp. characteristic and excellent offset and vinyl offset characteristics. CONSTITUTION: This polyester resin for a toner has a monofunctional unsaturated end group on at least one end of a polyester chain. A poly(1,2-propylene- diethylene-terephthalate) resin is provided. The polyester resin is obtained by cross-linking a polyester having an unsaturated end group positioned on at least one end of the polyester chain. The polyester resin is combined with a colorant to produce a low-fixing-temp. toner.
