PURPOSE:To provide a fixing device having a simple structure and capable of performing a more positive fixing of an indoor device as compared with that of the prior art. CONSTITUTION:A fixing device for an air conditioner is operated such that each of an upper end and a lower end of an indoor device 1 is engaged with an upper end and a lower end of a fixing plate 100 so as to fix the indoor device 1. At this time, a midway part of the fixing plate 100 is provided with a recess 101 and further a rear panel 150 of the indoor device 1 is provided with a projection 103 to be fitted to the recess 101.
