PURPOSE:To provide a battery pack in which accidental short-circuiting between a plus terminal and a minus terminal can be prevented securely even when both terminals are disposed close to each other. CONSTITUTION:A plus terminal 13 and a minus terminal 14 are disposed close to each other on a bottom plate 12 of a battery pack 10. A short-circuit preventing plate 16 having electric insulation property and covering a plus terminal 13 as one terminal is provided to slide freely along a guide groove 17. The short-circuit preventing plate 16 is energized by a tension coil spring 18 when it is not installed on a device main body 20 to be energized to a position to cover the plus terminal 13. When it is installed on the device main body 20, the short-circuit preventing plate 16 is pushed by a protrusion 26 of the device main body 20 against the tension coil spring 18, and the plus terminal 13 is exposed, thereby both terminals 13, 14 on the battery pack 10 side get in contact with both terminal 24, 25 on the device main body 20 side. |
