PURPOSE:To utilize the railroad information of ground units arranged along the railroad efficiently while enhancing the reliability thereof. CONSTITUTION:When obstacles 2 are present on the opposite sides of a railroad 1, a snow-plow must close the wings 31L, 31R, 32L, 32R during the interval of the obstacle 2. A correlation exists between a command for opening/closing the wings 31L, 31R, 32L, 32R and a directional data representative of forward and rearward running data of the snow-plow 3. A mobile unit 6 reads out the forward and rearward data from the ground units 5a-5d and identifies the data representative of the advancing direction of vehicle based on the correlation. |
