PURPOSE:To immediately offer traffic information when an engine is restarted. CONSTITUTION:With an ACC switch OFF, the power source for various members is turned OFF, but reception by an FM multiplex receiver 26 is carried on and received traffic information is stored in a RAM 20a together with its reception time. This RAM 20a is used as a backup memory to prevent the storage contents from being erased even after the power source is turned OFF. Then when the engine is restarted, the storage contents of the RAM 20a are read out and when the stored time is within a specific time, the traffic information is immediately offered. |
